Water Park and City Manager to Be Focus For Tonight’s City Meeting

The Holiday Springs Water Park and the City Manager situation will be the focus for tonight's Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Director's meeting.The board will consider officially naming Charles Nickerson as the Interim City Manager and approve a compensation package for him. They will also consider an ordinance approving former City Manager Harold Boldt's settlement package. Boldt and the city parted ways several weeks ago.

Also, on tonight's agenda is several items concerning the Holiday Springs Water Park which is being built in the Crossroads Business Parkway. The board will consider an ordinance authorizing the city to finalize funding for the Water Park incentive package.

There will be a discussion of the upcoming Multiple Sclerorsis (MS) Walk which is going on this Saturday April 6th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bobby Ferguson Park.

There will be both an executive session and open session during tonight's meeting. The public is invited to attend the open portion of the meeting.
