Does anyone else besides me have a countdown in their phones for wine o'clock?

I know what you're thinking, there's no such thing as wine o'clock. Well, there actually is and the Oxford online dictionary added it officially las year. It is defined as "the appropriate time of day to start drinking wine." However, there has never really been a time attached to it... Until now.

A new study from Enolytics has determined the accurate time for wine o'clock is 6:30 p.m.

Yep, I was disappointed too. 6:30 is late. They determined the time based on data from the Hello Vino app, which wine drinkers use to document the wines they are drinking. It's also an educational app. Of course, wine o'clock is a very fluid time (pun totally intended). What Enolytics also found is that 6:30 p.m. is the peak time. While researching they found that many people begin drinking wine around 4:45 p.m. on a consistent basis while other also consume as late at 9 p.m.

Now, 4:45 p.m. is a time I can definitely uncork and enjoy!
