As most of you know I am a big movie buff, enjoy going to the movies and watching movies at home. And the big movie this weekend is Battle: Los Angeles rated PG 13.

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It's up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they've ever encountered before.

This action/drama stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Michael Pena.

Watched an interview the other day with Aaron Eckhart who said the movie is really about marines, family, friends, and survival. Be expected to be taken on an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish. Eckhart said he visited several marine bases as well as going overseas and said the marines loved this movie.

Just hope this movie lives up to it's blockbuster hype and isn't another cheesy War of the Worlds or Skyline movie. Are you ready for an alien invasion of the 3rd kind? Huh-Rah!
