In a recent survey, 19% of Americans surveyed said they would miss attending a loved ones funeral to go to the Super Bowl IF their favorite team was playing in it.

The survey, commissioned by CouponCabin.com, asked respondents to name an event they would be willing to miss to attend the Super Bowl if their favorite team was playing in it.

The top 5 answers...

23% said vacation.

21% said an important work responsibility (figured this one would be higher).

20% said a wedding of an important friend or family member (and who would blame them??!!)

19% said funeral of a loved one.

15% (obviously men) said the birth of their child.
