What Do You Think of This Painting of Obama Depicted as Jesus [POLL]

Michael D’Antuono

New York artist Michael D’Antuono has done a painting of Barack Obama in a pose similar to Jesus on the cross, wearing a crown of thorns, and some folks are really mad about it.

The painting is titled “The Truth”, and is on display at Boston’s Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery.  The artist said the painting was meant as a metaphor for Obama being crucified, not as a comparison to Jesus. (Do you believe him?)

So, we want to know what you think…

(There have been a number of incidents where some people have compared Obama to Jesus, including Jamie Foxx’s recent comments at the Soul Train Awards on  BET when he called Obama “our lord and savior”.)
