What Kids Really Want For Back to School? [Survey]

Texarkana stores were packed this past tax- free weekend as parents hurried to find the best deals around town on school supplies and clothing. But you might be surprised by what kids really want, according to a recent survey I ran across. Clothing was not on the top of the list!

More than 40 percent of kids between 8 and 18 would prefer to have a new smartphone, laptop, or tablet. That's way off considering 43 percent of parents think their kids want new clothes for back-to-school.
