When is a Kid Old Enough to Have Their Own Phone? [POLL]

My 10 year old son has been badgering me for a cellphone lately. Apparently, all his friends have one so he wants one too.

I've been weighing the pro's and con's of giving him his own phone and I don't think he's responsible enough yet. He's always losing something. His football, his trapper keeper, his shoes...
