Which States Love Bacon the Most? Texas, Arkansas Need to Step Up Their Game

We all love bacon, but who loves it the most?

I'm pretty sure I could eat bacon all day, every day. I could incorporate it into every meal (if not just eating bacon as the meal) and never get sick of it. I could eat it with maple syrup, chocolate, brown sugar, cheese, ice cream, whipped cream... you name it, I've probably eaten it with bacon on it.

I love it.

Unfortunately, my love for bacon does not put Texas nor Arkansas in the top spot of biggest bacon lovers. Nebraska actually holds that top spot. It's all according to a study by Ginnys.com, which ranked all 50 states on their love for bacon. It's based on one simple variable... posts to Instagram. They analyzed more than 33,000 photos.

People in Nebraska post 132% more photos of bacon than the national average. Texas posts 19 percent more and Arkansas posts 3 percent more than the national average. So while we're not in the top 10, at least we're not in the bottom 10.

Hawaii has the bottom spot at 48 percent less than the national average. For what it's worth though, I'm pretty sure they don't discriminate to any part of the pig. They love to roast the whole hog for luaus.
