Whiskey River Harley Davidson Presents 2012 Talimena Run

A good friend of mine, Neal Jones, is the event coordinator for the 2012 Talimena Run presented by Whiskey River Harley Davidson of Texarkana. The purpose of the bike run is to raise money for the Hooks Children Ministries and St. Jude Children Research Center in Memphis, Tenn. If you registered to ride in this bike run, be gassed up and ready to go on Friday, May 25, kickstands up to ride through the rolling hills of Arkansas with a return back to Texarkana at the end of the day. Then on Saturday, May 26 the bike run will head to Queen Wilhelmina Park where lunch will be provided by Jimmy and Dawn Smith. The run once again returns back to Comfort Inn Suites in Texarkana for a Big Jake's BBQ provided by Bernie Attema. There will be special prize drawings both nights but you must have a ticket to participate.

Neil Jones is also putting together another bike run to St. Jude Children Research Center in Memphis, Tenn.  All bikers who participate in this run are encouraged to be a part of the June 9 ride to St. Jude's.

The plans on that ride is to leave Whiskey River Harley Davidson at 7 a.m. and head to Memphis where all riders will get a tour of the hospital and show their bikes to the kids at the hospital. In case of rain everyone will be asked to go in their cars.
