Who is Armie Hammer?

With the release of the movie, The Lone Ranger, actor Armie Hammer is all over the place. 

He plays the character of the Lone Ranger, and he seems to be on the cover or featured in an article of every magazine I open. I am beginning to wonder, who is this guy!? He is one of those actors that I recognize, but can never identify him as a specific role. So I did a little research..

Hammer is a 26-year-old actor who was born in Los Angeles, but lived in Dallas and the Cayman Islands for several years before settling back into Los Angeles. He dropped out of high school in the eleventh grade to pursue a career in acting. His decision to drop out of high school caused his parents to disown him.

Hammer has appeared in shows like Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives. He is probably most recognized from his role as twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in The Social Network. He also played the Prince is Mirror, Mirror. Now as I am realizing that I have seen him in several roles, why is he just now getting the media spotlight?! I am not quite sure, but I am also not hating it. He's definitely not bad looking, so I don't mind him on the cover of every magazine.
