Why I’m Leaving KKYR…

Hello wonderful listeners. I'm sure by now you've heard the news that July 31st will be my last show on KKYR. I wanted to take a second and explain why I'm leaving.

If you keep up with my blogs you know that KKYR is not my only job. I also own a restaurant in Gurdon (where I live). The restaurant is taking more and more of my time and these 18 hour days are starting to take their toll on me. Something had to go, unfortunately it was KKYR. :(

I want you all to know how much you have blessed my life. Thank you thank you thank you for listening to me each day as I rambled about this or that. I have had the time of my life and I am so appreciative to Mario Garcia and Ron Bird for giving this small town girl such a huge opportunity. Thank you Mario and Ron!

My first day ever on KKYR was June 7, 2007. Three years later on that exact date, (my now hubby) Tim asked me to marry him. My last day on KKYR will be July 31st, which is ironically my 3 year anniversary. Isn't that weird?

Thank you all for your support over these last 6 years. I love you, and I mean it :)
