Does staying at an 1884 Victorian style bed and breakfast inn sound like a getaway for you?Tinkerbell's Wildwood Inn is the most romantic and historic bed and breakfast in the spa city.  Not only are the grounds breathtaking,  you are surrounded by peace and tranquility.  My wife and I enjoyed a weekend trip a few years back celebrating her birthday.  The rooms are very comfortable and decorated tastefully in different themes.  We chose the Rudyard Kipling room. It was decorated as if we were in the jungle.  I called ahead and had them light candles and had soft music playing as we entered. (Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic) The best features of this room were, being the former butler's room, it had its own entrance and a hot tub in the bathroom.

I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They went out of their way helping me with other plans I wanted to make in Hot Springs.  Such as reservations at my wife's favorite Italian Villa overlooking Lake Hamilton and packing a picnic lunch for us to share in the garden.

Breakfast at the inn was absolutely amazing! After gathering in the formal dinning area with the other guests, we were served several coarses of delicious gourmet food. The inn keepers then gave us a tour and history of  the house. One of the memories that stand out about the house was an opening  in the wall full of old shoes from the original owners.  Glad they showed us where the butler's pantry was too. We enjoyed a taste of all the fresh homemade goodies.
