One of my favorite places to visit when I was a kid growing up was Six Flags Over Texas. I can remember when they had the double crane baskets that took you up in the air for a bird's eye view of Big D. Then there were the buckets rides that glided along a cable line from one side of the park to the other. Sort of miss those days because they were a quick way of getting around the park. However, a lot has changed over the years. Those rides are no longer there but Six Flags has always made it a tradition to bring in a new ride each year.

This year the newest edition to the park is the Texas SkyScreamer which towers 400 feet above the ground, making it the tallest  swing ride in the world. Don't look down, it will make you weak in the knees but you'll get an amazing aerial view of the park and panoramic view of the Metroplex if you dare open your eyes.

If you would like to experience this ride and others, then enter now in the VIP Club and you could win one night’s hotel accommodations at Howard Johnson Arlington, two tickets to Six Flags Over Texas, two tickets to both the Parks at Arlington Mall’s carousel and ice skating rink, two tickets to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!/Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax and a coupon for free food at Mellow Mushroom Arlington.

Here's a look at the TexasSkyScreamer...think I'm already feeling a little nauseous.
