Aldean was one of several artists who recently performed at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas when a gunman opened fire on the concert crowd attending, killing 58 people and injured several hundred more. Aldean and his crew were not hurt in the shooting incident but it certainly left the country singer shaken and concerned. Out of respect to the victims in the Vegas shooting Aldean canceled some shows the following weekend to spend some time with his own family. He and his pregnant wife Brittany recently visited a hospital where several survivors continue to recover from their injuries.
