Wizard World Comic Con – Fun Times In St Louis, MO

Have you ever been a big fan of someone? You know, like a movie or TV star, rock or country singer? Fan enough that if you actually got the chance to meet them in person you might just hyperventilate and pass out? Me too. My wife Donna as well, and this past weekend she finally got to meet her crush, David Tennant. Tennant is the 10th Doctor in the Doctor Who series on BBC America and is the one on the right in the picture above. She also got to meet Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor in the same series, and while she was darned excited to meet him as well, the crush has always been on Tennant.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy going to these Comic Con events as well. It’s fun to meet the stars, get their autographs and pictures, and listen to them tell stories and answer questions. I am also a fan of the Doctor Who series, but this one was for my wifey. We were going to throw a big birthday bash for a milestone birthday this year until she found out Tennant was going to be at this Con, so that’s what she wanted to do for her birthday.

Done.

By the way, my wife Donna did not pass out after meeting David, but that squee-face hasn’t gone away yet either.
