According to a new study in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine, commutes of 10 miles or longer could pose health risks including obesity and heart disease.

This is another one of those "duh" studies. Of course all that sitting isn't good for you. Ways to offset the negative effects? Park a little farther away from the office and walk. Talk the stairs instead of the elevator. Take a little walk around the office. Anything to move around a little after that long drive.
