WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair One of Several Divas in the Ring Aug. 28
What would the WWE be without its Divas? This coming Monday night Aug. 28, in Texarkana some of the top WWE women will head into to the ring and we're not talking cue card girls.
That used to be all you would see in the ring but as the WWE continued to evolve over the years that all changed. But I'm not complaining! One of those Divas will be Charlotte Flair the daughter of 16- time Champion Ric Flair who continues to improve and recover from recent surgery.
Flair first got the attention of the NXT Universe when she defeated Natalya in an eight-woman tournament NXT Takeover to claim the title of the NXT Women's Championship in May 2014. You had to know, it was just a matter of time before she would become a WWE Superstar. I mean after all, she had the genes of one of the greats of the World Wrestling Entertainment universe, her father Ric Flair best known as "Nature Boy."
Charlotte Flair was one of the first women to win the Divas Title and the Raw Women's Championship four times. In a pay-per-view event, she beat Sasha Banks in the Hell in a Cell Match. In 2017, Flair became the first female Superstar to headline a main event in WWE history in a singles match on Raw, Smackdown LIVE.
