Your Favorite Taco – Who Makes It Just Right?

This Wednesday, October 4 is National Taco Day, I love me some tacos! Who doesn't really? But tacos come in all shapes and sizes and we're looking for Texarkana's and the surrounding area's best taco, tell us about your favorite.

Some like 'em hot, some mild, some with chicken, beef or pork and some even with fish and/or shrimp! I'll be the first to admit that I'm pretty boring when it comes to tacos, I like mine with beef, lettuce and cheese, usually crunchy shelled but sometimes a soft shell works too.

You'll find me crunching on some Taco Tuesday tacos at Tamales pretty regularly, and my wife's recipe is one of the best ever of course, but to find one of my all-time favorites we have to leave town for that. Put this one in your head and crunch on it a minute;

It's late a night, you've been "hangin" with your buds all night, and someone says let's go get some tacos! So, you know it's going to be cheap, greasy and delicious, any guesses yet? Jack-In-The-Box tacos, three for a dollar way back when and I loved them. I don't know if they're as good as they once were, it's been a long time since I've had one. Maybe it was just the fun and the friends that made them soooo good late at night, but they used to be.
