Your help is needed!

Remember a few months ago when you helped the Genoa PTO win $25,000 from Tom's of Maine by voting for them online everyday? Yeah-you're awesome! Well, now they need as many volunteers as possible to come to the Genoa Elementary playground on December 29th at 9am to help put together all the equipment they bought with that moolah! If you are looking for a great volunteer opportunity, this is it! Plus it's a great teaching tool for your kids to show them how important it is to volunteer your time and give back to the world around you! Here is the original post on Facebook from the Genoa PTO:

HELP US GIVE OUR 3-8 STUDENTS AN AWESOME CHRISTMAS GIFT! ***CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS - PLAYGROUND WORK DAY - DECEMBER 29th - 9AM - ? ***
We'll start at 9am, but please feel free to come and go as your schedules allow. We realize this is an extremely busy time of year for everyone, but encourage you to join us if at all possible.
If you have any of the following, please bring:
- Shovels, rakes, hoes
- Wheelbarrow
- Sledge hammer
- Socket set
- Ladder
- Water hose
- Your preferred safety equipment
And you might want to wear some old paint/work clothes.
