Cathy Martindale has been co-hosting zMax Racing Country, which is in over 300 markets with 10 million listeners, for fourteen years! For 17 years Cathy worked at WSM, the home of Country music, where she did mornings, afternoons, and even worked as the Music Director. She also co/hosted the morning show with Coyote McCloud on WMAK/WRQQ and has recorded over 12,000 car commercials. Cathy career has also involved different televised shows from being a co-host with Country Music star Craig Morgan on the Tennessee's Wildside to a co-host with Ralph Emery (2007) on the Ralph Emery Country Collection. She has even been a spokesperson in over 6,000 TV car commercials in 125+ markets. Cathy may be best know outside of Nashville for her returning roles on her own shows on the Nashville Network and is even featured in several movies including an "extra" in The Hannah Montana Movie plus an upcoming movie in 2009 called "Harp." In her down time from broadcasting Cathy is a Red Cross volunteer and a co-feeding leader for Middle Tennessee. Cathy also holds the title of Vice President of the Sumner County Recovery Committee which was formed in response to helping people who aren't covered by insurance or FEMA funds after tornados. She also finds time to be a regular Mom and is one of the board members on her son's PTO. When she is not working, or volunteering she likes to spend her time working in the yard, golfing, and skiing, either jet or snow! She loves to travel and is up to any challenge!
