Brantley Gilbert set sail this past October for his very special four-night party, the Kick It in the Ship Cruise, which traveled from Miami, Fla., to Nassau, Bahamas. While out partying it up on the seven seas, the country star had a great time covering Lynyrd Skynyrd with some other musical pals.

The cruise expedition featured appearances by Luke CombsMichael RayBlackhawkColt Ford, Josh Phillips, Faren Rachels and many more. When it came time to cover Skynyrd's famous song, "Simple Man," it was Combs and Ray who stepped onstage with the "One Hell of an Amen" singer.

Gilbert starts the song off alone on stage, with the audience singing along to his trademark deep and raspy vocals. Ray is the next to come on stage, and he takes a softer approach than Gilbert did with the song. The last to try their hand at the rock classic was Combs, who -- in classic Combs fashion -- didn't hold back, before all three man joined in together, much to the audience's delight. Gilbert's Kick It in the Ship Cruise sailed the seas from Oct. 23-28. This summer, Gilbert offered up some cryptic -- but intriguing -- thoughts on where his music is headed for his upcoming new record. More information about Gilbert can be found on his official website.
