The second weekend of September is here and thank goodness we had some rain this week, looks like a great weekend to get out and see some live music. Let's check out who is playing where this weekend around town with Texarkana's Live Music Scene.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin issued a statement on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, announcing the arrest of Austin Norris, 28, of Watts, Oklahoma. Norris faces a federal charge for receiving or distributing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Congratulations to Texarkana College, one of 40 Grantees across Texas to receive grant funds from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Your Bowie County Sheriff's Office arrested a total of 67 people last week, 17 of those by BCSO, another 46 were turned over by other law enforcement agencies to Bowie County.

Your Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a total of 70 people last week, 26 of those arrested were by BCSO, whereas 44 were turned over by other law enforcement agencies to Bowie County.
