The fall is such a pretty season with all the leaves on the trees changing colors. It's the perfect time to take those family photos and senior pics. But be careful where you choose to take those photos because there is a place that seems like the perfect location for photos the only problem is that it is illegal in both Arkansas and Texas.

Here we are, coming up on the first Saturday in November and every year, for the last 49 years, and that means it is Cullen Baker Country Fair time in Bloomburg, Texas. This time. it's the 50th anniversary of this fun community event.

This weekend there are more than just a few events going on and the weather will be great for it all. From car racing to garage sale shopping to benefits, festivals, haunted houses and spooky trails there is something for everyone.

The name may sound menacing Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas but this iconic state park is one of the most beautiful in the state.

The City of Texarkana, Texas, is set to welcome top anglers as the Major League Fishing (MLF) Phoenix Bass Regional Tournament comes to town this week. The tournament promises excitement for fans and fishing enthusiasts, with skilled competitors battling it out on Lake Wright Patman.

I don't know if I'm more excited for the cooler weather this week or the Hunter's Moon or Harvest Moon as we call it.

As I said during the radio broadcast, it wasn't a re-grand opening, because all during the remodel, our Arkansas-side Walmart #468 stayed open. We, as customers, and even they, as associates, are still going through the growing pains. But we're all learning together the new layout.

Cooler temperatures are going to quickly become a reality and with the autumn season and we all look forward to not only the sweater weather but the changing colors of the foliage in Arkansas. But when can we expect to see all those beautiful fall colors?

October is finally here and Dancing Ranch Farm in Fouke, Arkansas has just been turned into Spookville with the 4th annual Fall Festival and Haunted House.
