It's happened again, the new season of the TV show "Forged In Fire" has started up, and it's on my DVR right now. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm excited to see what the guys and gals will be forging, hammering, and grinding into blades this season.
As I said during the radio broadcast, it wasn't a re-grand opening, because all during the remodel, our Arkansas-side Walmart #468 stayed open. We, as customers, and even they, as associates, are still going through the growing pains. But we're all learning together the new layout.

First off, let me say I didn't get taken, thank goodness, I recognized it for what it was early enough in the process that I saved myself the hassle and expense. This story though, is for those who haven't yet encountered it so you know what to look for.
My wife Donna and I had another chance last weekend to fly those Geek flags high at the massive event held each year in Big D known as Fan Expo Dallas 2024. What a madhouse, in a good way.
You know my love for Buc-ee's when traveling, as of today the largest Buc-ee's in the world is once again right where it should be, in the Great State of Texas. And, in the place these jumbo travel centers began, in Luling, (pronounced Loo-ling). The ribbon cutting was today, and the Governor was there for it.
So many folks are seriously concerned about climate change these days that it's enough to make you sweat bullets before the real heat even gets here. Maybe you didn't notice how hot it was yesterday? Did you know we broke a record for the heat on Tuesday, May 7? We did.
