Don’t Miss Texarkana Farmers’ Market Opening Day This Saturday

Who is ready for fresh vegetables and fruit? It was a long winter and it is always such a great feeling when the temperatures warm up and the Farmers' Market opens.

It's that time of year finally when the Texarkana Farmers’ Market will officially kick off the 2023 season this Saturday, April 29.

Join in on all the activities starting at 7 AM and going on until 12 PM.

There will be something for everyone. Bring the kids to enjoy the “Once Upon a Time” Story Time and Activity with Fairy Tale Garden and Farm and it's free. The kids' events start at 9 AM.

Then for the adults you can learn more about the health benefits of juicing with a
Fresh Juicing demonstration with Be Healthy By Bren at 7 AM. She will also talk about how to start healthy eating habits.

There are other great events scheduled throughout the Farmers' Market season too including:

June 17: Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Contest at the Summer Celebration
July 8: 12th Annual Biggest Tomato Contest
August 5: 13th Annual Salsa Contest
Plus Every Saturday, it's story time and activities for the kids at 9 AM
