What is the Hempstead Guarantee?
The Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship from the University of Arkansas Hope–Texarkana offers you the entire first year of college at no cost. Tuition, fees, and book rentals are all covered after any financial aid you receive. This gives you a huge head start with no first-year expenses.

Your first major step is due January 31, 2026, so now is the perfect time to get started.
How to Secure Your Free Year at UA Hope-Texarkana
To qualify, make sure you complete each step by its deadline:
You must submit your UAHT application for admission by January 31
You must complete the State of Arkansas Scholarship application by May 1
You must graduate from a Hempstead County high school
You must finish your FAFSA and all financial aid documents by May 31
You must enroll in at least 12 credit hours for the fall semester by June 30
