Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, returns to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 10th Anniversary of Geek'd Con will be held at the Shreveport Convention Center, August 22nd-24th, 2025. The event is an amazing weekend where you can create once-in-a-lifetime moments with your favorite celebrities, shop from hundreds of vendor booths, and spend time with your friends & family.

Even though there's a lot of family fun to be had, there are also some things that the kids might not enjoy. Like meeting Art the Clown in full makeup.

Meet The Official Art The Clown In Makeup At Geek'd Con 2025

Actor David Howard Thornton is best known for playing Art The Clown in the Terrifier film series. It's a role that has made him a fan-favorite around the globe. But its also a role that involves makeup and prosthetics, meaning you wouldn't really know David was Art just by meeting him.

That doesn't stop fans from wanting to meet David for autographs and pictures. But he knows what the fans really want. So David is helping make that dream come true for fans in Shreveport this year.

David Howard Thornton will be dawning the black and white costume, and getting into full makeup, to meet fans for a once-in-lifetime photo op in Downtown Shreveport. You will be able to meet 'the real' Art The Clown, in full makeup, and get a picture with him.

This will only happen on Saturday of this year's Geek'd Con in Downtown Shreveport. Many people will plan their whole visit around this one photo op, so make sure to book yours now so you can lock in your schedule.

Fans will not be able to meet David in his Art makeup outside of this photo op. He will not be appearing at his table in makeup, and will not be signing autographs in the Art gear. So if you want to meet the real Art The Clown, you need to sign up here.

Who Else is Coming to Geek'd Con?

You can meet award winning actor Jason Lee, along with his Mallrats costars Ethan Suplee and Jeremy London. Plus The Sandlot star Patrick Renna, and WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner.

This year's guest lineup already includes a 35th Anniversary "Shell-a-Bration" for the release of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Including voice actors Brian Tochi (Leonardo), Robbie Rist (Michalangelo), and martial artists Ernie Reyes, Jr. (Donatello) and Kenn Scott (Raphael). The four Turtles actors will be joined by Francois Chau, who portrayed The Shredder in the TMNT film universe as well.
