This weekend you have the chance to do your part and help clean up our town and help keep our neighborhoods and roads beautiful as The City of Texarkana, Texas hosts Texarkana Trash Off 2023.

It's all happening this Saturday, April 1 from 8 AM to 12 PM.  Also taking place on Saturday is the Big Event with Texas A&M University Texarkana. This will be a day of service for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families as they lend a helping hand to our community.

There will be big roll-off dumpsters located in four Texarkana areas: Beverly, Rosehill, New Town, and the Public Library. You along with other volunteers will be able to bring bulk waste and trash. But please no Electronics, paint, tires or batteries.

Share Photos For a Chance at Prizes

The city is encouraging everyone to take a picture of their haul to show off the impact you are making. Then share the photos with the hashtags: #BigEventTAMUT, #TexarkanaTrashOff and @tamutbigevent for a chance to win prizes.

The dumpsters will be located at:

- Public Library located at 600 West 3rd Stree in Texarkana Texas at the back parking lot.
- Rosehill neighborhood at 1303 Milam Street and W. 13th Street in Texarkana, Texas
- New Town at Bell Park located at 3208 Lincoln Avenue in Texarkana, Texas
- The Beverly Community Center located at 901 Lumpkin Street in Texarkana, Texas
