Miss Arkansas High School 2016 Chosen

Arkansas High School in Texarkana has crowned its winner in the Miss AHS 2016 Pageant.

Glitz and glamour were on display at the annual Miss Arkansas High School Pageant. The winner was sophomore Alix Davis, above. She was one of nine students in grades 9 through 12 who competed for the title this year. Davis was also the Interview winner, as well as the winner in the Evening Gown competition.

1st Runner-Up honors went to senior Angel Harrell, who also won the Talent Competition.

Senior Angela Warren was the Ad Sales winner.

Freshman Savannah Thomas was chosen Miss Congeniality.

All contestants participated in Interview, Talent, and Evening Gown Competition. Entertainment was provided by the Arkansas High School Jazz Band, and the AHS Redline Drill Team.

All proceeds will benefit the Arkansas High School Redline Drill Team.
