The body of a missing nursing student from Henderson University has been found submerged in a creek in LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

In a press release from the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department:

The vehicle, and missing 21 year old Callie Morris, has been found today in a Latimer County Creek. The vehicle was found overturned and partly submerged in water with the body of the missing women inside. Oklahoma Highway Patrol will be handling the investigation.

Twenty-one-year-old Callie Morris was a nursing student at Henderson University and had been attending clinicals in Hot Springs, Ark. According to family, she left Hot Springs in her 2004 Ford Explorer in route to her parents home in McAlester, Okla. Searches began for the young woman when she never arrived to her destination.

Friends and family of Callie had started a Facebook Page dedicated to locating Callie.
