National Drug Take Back Day
Safe disposal of expired or unused prescription drugs
Anonymous event and no questions asked
Do you have any prescription drugs that you don't use anymore or have they expired? There is a safe way to dispose of them and it's not in the trash can.
Saturday, October 26 is National Drug Take Back Day. Why is this so important?
Why You Should Dispose of Prescription Drugs at the Drug Take Back Day?
When you keep these drugs in your house there is a bigger chance they will get into the wrong hands like a child.
If you throw these prescriptions into the trash there is a good chance that someone can get them for themselves or sell them to somebody. If you think flushing them down the toilet is a great idea, think again. Those drugs can easily get into our water systems and contaminate our water supply.
