Sing Along This Weekend

I'm going to be having a major flashback this weekend on the Oxygen Channel when they are going to be showing the Grease Sing-A-Long that was in theaters last year.

The Oxygen Channel will kick off its special "Gleekend" with the Grease Sing-A-Long on Friday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. ET/PT (additional broadcasts at 9:30 p.m. and 12 a.m.). For the first time on television, you'll be able to sing-a-long with Danny and Sandy and the rest of the cast from the 1978 film.

The sing-along will kick off Oxygen's 12-hour marathon of Glee episodes, airing on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT. Meanwhile, the channel's Glee Project will premiere in June 2011 on Oxygen and will award one winner a seven-episode guest starring role on the third season of Fox's Glee.

I can still remember seeing this movie with my parents at the old Joy Theater in Nash, Texas. I think at one time or another every guy wanted to be like Danny and every girl dreamed of being like Sandy. I know it's still one of my wife's favorite all-time movies. And, as we say in radio it's a Classic!
