4th of July

With the Fourth of July just days away, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2018's Best & Worst Places for 4th of July Celebrations to go along with interesting stats about the holiday in its 4th of July Facts & Figures.

I love the 4tth of July! It's a time for celebration, reflection, and time to hear one of the most iconic country songs that helps put into perspective what being an American is all about. You know the song "God Bless The USA," sung by Grammy-winning artist Lee Greenwood.

Traveling this Fourth of July weekend? Well, you don't have to travel far to see some spectacular fireworks around the region. Some of my favorite firework shows happen over water and there are several lakes near here where you can enjoy just that.

Looking for something fun to do and celebrated our country's independence day too? Coming up this Saturday, July 1 it's the 28th Annual Stand-Up for America Celebration going on in Nashville, AR.

Sparks in The Park is Saturday, June 25, at the Four States Fairgrounds. So get your red, white and blue on and enter the Patriotic Costume Contest.
