Air Show

I get excited when I hear about an air show because I love anything that has to do with aviation.  Have you heard that plans are underway for an air show in Texarkana in the summer of 2026 at the Texarkana Regional Airport?

Hey, it's Jim, you know the guy who's "Just Plane Nuts." I was trying to remember when was the last time I went to an air show... It has been way too long for me, I think the last time was a year or two before all the COVID-19 mess. I know there are some coming up in the fall, but I'm getting a little antsy.

If you love a great air show you won't have to travel far from Texarkana to see "Wings Over Bryant," at Saline County Regional Airport in Bryant, Arkansas on Father's Day weekend on Saturday, June 19.

The 2021 Barksdale Air Force Base - Defenders of Liberty Airshow is this Mother's Day weekend, May 8-9, in Shreveport-Bossier. The US Air Force Thunderbirds are the main attraction this year.

A couple of weeks ago, I told you about how my husband John and I when up to Missouri for a family reunion. After the wonderful reunion in Liberty, we headed to St. Louis for the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow.

One of my favorite events of the year is back this year in Shreveport-Bossier on May 18-19,  "Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air and Space Show."

I love a good air show! And this weekend the place to be is Shreveport, Louisiana for the Barksdale Air Force Base Open House and Air Show April 26-27.
