It took a while but it has finally happened… the sister I found through my DNA test and I finally met face to face this past weekend, and it was awesome.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks since my last DNA update but this one has some very interesting things to point out that we have learned about DNA testing and a surprise at the end.

OK kids, let's review... My DNA results came back early last week. My ancestors hail mostly from Great Britain; 73.9% British & Irish, 6.7% French German, 2.3% Scandinavian. I am predisposed to weigh a little more than average, not likely to have a unibrow (thank goodness) and, oh, did I mention I have a sister?
