Arkansas caves

It's been a long time coming but one of Arkansas' best-known caves is back up and running! Blanchard Springs Caverns is located in the Mountain View area in the Ozark National Forest.

So far it's been a hot summer and signs indicate there's no relief forthcoming. However, there are some places in Arkansas where you can go to cool down -- underground. Have you ever been cave dwelling? Arkansas has some of the best natural caves and caverns to get a little relief from the summer heat. Let's explore.

When I think about caves I automatically think of the bat cave in the movie Batman. But did you know there many caves right here in Arkansas to explore and several of them are just a stones throw away from Texarkana.
