Arkansas cicadas

Summer has arrived and so have the cicadas we have been hearing about for months. June and July are typically the months that Arkansans get serenaded by the loudest insect in the world.

As most of you know trillions of cicadas are beginning to emerge across the Midwestern and  Southern United States including Arkansas.

This is the first day of May meaning that trillions of cicadas will begin invading this part of the South including Arkansas. later this month. Are you ready for the loud noise that these insects will bring when they show up in droves?
