In a world of not-so-normal because of the COVID-19 restrictions,  Arkansas State Parks recently received some welcome news. Beginning today, March 1, park visitors and museums across the state are permitted to go back to normal hours.

Stacy Hurst, secretary of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism (ADPHT), today announced all Arkansas State Parks will be open for day use only effective 8 a.m. on Friday, April 3, until further notice.

Go back in time this Christmas at Old Washington Historic Park. It's their 'Christmas and Candlelight' event Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14.

The summer season is coming to an end and Daisy State Park invites you for a fun-filled weekend of activities beginning Friday, September 4 through Monday. September 7.

The Daisy State Park family will be celebrating its 60th anniversary as an Arkansas State Park from 1-4PM on Friday, Aug. 28.

The Arkansas State Parks trail crew is set to begin work on the two and a half miles of the Bear Creek Trail within Daisy State Park on August 17. And this work will require the temporary closure of the first six-mile portion of the trail, according to Park Superintendent Tamara Lunsford.

Daisy State Park in Kirby, Ark., is making preparations to celebrate its 60th Birthday August 28 to August 30.

Lake Greeson is one of the lakes near here that everyone likes go to when looking for some summertime fun.  Well, the  26th Annual Lake Greeson Days are set for June 19-21 at Daisy State Park. This event will include the annual kids fishing derby as well as a variety of contests, programs, and tours.
