Cory Morrow

Today Texas turns a sprightly 182 years young. It was on March 2, 1836, with the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence, settlers in Mexican Texas officially broke ties with Mexico and formed the most bad ass state in the union.

Texas singer/songwriter Cory Morrow is coming to Texarkana to perform at Scottie's Grill this Saturday Sept. 10, 2016 at 9PM.

On Tuesday June 16th Cory Morrow released his first album of new songs since 2010's "Brand New Me," of course we're not counting the "Live at Billy Bob's" album in 2012.

Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

A few weeks ago Kevin Fowler sent a request to all of his Facebook friends to submit video clips to use in the video for his new song, "Hell Yeah, I Like Beer".

There will always be an abundance of stories about an artist, or artists going to battle with their record company (Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Tracy Lawrence, etc...)  Then there's Pat Green, who broke it all down in a recent interview, and Pat actually understands that it's all business... and the suits are simply trying to protect their investment.
