LifeShare Blood Center is continuing its emergency appeal as inventory levels are at historic lows levels. This is the second emergency appeal due to critical low levels.  LifeShare is in desperate need of all types of blood and the community is needed to reach the demand for hospitals.

It's an amazing thought. Make one donation of blood and you could easily save three lives. It's that easy to be a hero. Be sure and stop by one of these blood drives in the month of February.

There has been a lot talk lately of why it's important to donate blood in our community not only to make sure there is plenty available for those who may need it during the Hurricane Harvey rescue efforts, but to make sure that we have a substantial amount of blood if needed in our area.

LifeShare is having a blood drive March 7 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Central Mall, 2400 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, Texas. All donors will be receiving a free T-shirt.
