I'll tell you who won, me! Because I got to sample some amazing steak at the second annual Boomtown Border City Steak Cookoff at Dots Ace Hardware in Texarkana last weekend. Man, that was some good eatin'.

If you love steak then get ready Texarkana for the Boomtown Border City Cookoff is coming to Dot's Ace Hardware on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dot’s Ace Hardware and Dot’s Rentals and Sales invite area grilling and food enthusiasts to Texarkana’s first Grill Fest on Saturday. Oct. 6. The event will be held outside at the hardware store at 3411 Richmond Road from 8AM-3PM.

With the Spring season almost here you can expect to see more people starting to cook outdoors. Nowadays there seems to be a little controversy about cooking on a traditional gas grill versus a Big Green Egg. Well, there really is no comparison in my opinion, when it comes to which one cooks better.

Circle L Chuckwagon Club will hold a Dutch Oven Clinic and Tasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, June 20, at Dot's Ace Hardware 3401 Richmond Road.
