In Texarkana, we were lucky that Tropical Storm Barry went to the east of us but our neighbors in surrounding counties have not been as fortunate especially in towns like Nashville, Blevins, Prescott and Dierks Arkansas. The Red River is expected to get out of banks over a portion of NE Texas over the next few days. The Red should crest a little above a foot over flood stage near DeKalb at Pecan Point.
