The only Fourth of July episode of anything worth mentioning is the series finale of ‘The Wonder Years.’ Airing on May 12, 1993, an epilogue set during a Fourth of July parade became one of the most memorable television moments of the last 25 years.
When it comes to the Fourth of July there's nothing like getting the family together for a good old-fashioned cookout. Many folks will cook everything from smoked brisket, spare ribs, pork chops, steak, BBQ chicken and the list goes on. Of course, if you want to keep it traditional there is always the classic all-American hotdog and hamburger.
On July 3rd, 1776, John Adams wrote a letter to his wife Abigail concerning the resolution of Independence, which had been adopted by congress a day earlier. The resolution would actually be approved on July 4th, which has since been the day we Americans have celebrated our Independence.
