The late Adam West will be heard in a number of projects to come, but perhaps no gig was so permanently affected as the former Batman star’s Family Guy role as Quahog’s mayor. Now, FOX pays tribute to our beloved “Bright Knight” with an extended reel of West’s wacky politician.

American Idol moving to ABC is bound to leave FOX a little green, and they might even spend a little in retaliation. FOX is apparently working on a brand-new singing competition to rival Idol and The Voice with a unique format.

FOX got the trailer party started late last night with Bryan Singer’s The Gifted, and now some more sci-fi heavies have come out to play. Sneak a peek at Family Guy boss Seth MacFarlane’s Star Trek-esque The Orville, along with Craig Robinson and Adam Scott playing X-Files with Ghosted in a first round of trailers.

It’s that nightmare time of year again, as the major networks announce their schedules, renewals and cancellations in a flurry of information. First up is FOX, who confirm that more X-Files will wait until midseason, but hedge their bets on the Legacy of 24, or another Prison Break.

You’re not living in a parallel universe, but you might as well get used to the phrase “American Idol, live from ABC!” The reality singing hit is officially coming back for another round, moving from its FOX home in a surprising upset for the major networks.

It hasn’t been terribly long since FOX said goodbye to American Idol, what with the whole “reality competition” craze having appreciably cooled since the early 2000s regardless. Still, leave it to NBC to potentially drag Ryan Seacrest back to the stage for a revival season, throwing The Voice into question in the process.

There is a petition gaining signatures online, but how far will it go?

Perhaps the only thing to stifle anticipation for another X-Files revival was the first X-Files revival, though FOX undoubtedly wants the chance to try again. That may soon become a reality, as network heads claim they hope to announce the next chapter “shortly,” potentially even for the next TV season.

FOX did its best to restore The X-Files to its former glory by the returns of Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny and Chris Carter, even if the final product felt notably rushed and uneven. Season 11 remains an open possibility, as FOX claims to be in “significant talks” with all three cornerstones, with intent toward a longer season.

The announcement that a proposed Rambo legacyquel had landed at FOX brought uncertainty that Sylvester Stallone himself would reprise the role, despite being attached as executive producer. Now, it seems the former John Rambo won’t have any involvement with the series whatsoever, which could well draw final blood from New Blood.

It's been a long time coming for Mulder and Scully's return (especially past that pesky 2012 alien invasion), but The X-Files have officially been re-opened. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny return, along with a host of familiar faces in the first of FOX's two-part 2016 X-Files trailer!

The 2015 Emmys are upon us, hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star and SNL alum Andy Samberg, and the competition is arrestingly steep. Will this be Mad Men‘s year? What about Tatiana Maslany?
