Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present their monthly program on Monday, March 11. The program, “How to Grow Tremendous Tomatoes,” will take place from 6PM until 8PM in Room 306 of the Science and Technology Building. Reservations are not required and the event is free and open to the public.

Even though last weekend was unseasonably cold, Spring is here and it's time to get in that garden. The Bowie County Master Gardeners will hold its annual Plant Sale this Saturday, April 14 at the Trail Head Park Pavilion in New Boston, Texas from 8AM until 1PM.

Fall is here and there is the promise of some cooler temperatures coming this weekend. Just because the cool weather is on the way, doesn't mean you have to take off the gardening gloves.

Many of us in Texarkana grow our own produce. Not only does this save on the food bill but we gain a sense of oneness with nature when we dig in the dirt.
