Have you ever been to Carmela's Magical Santa Land Drive-Thru Park in Longview, Texas? It's worth the drive from Texarkana or anywhere for that matter because this Christmas-themed park is still FREE.

If you want to see something special this Christmas season then be sure to put this destination on your list.

You've haven't quite experienced the holiday season until you take the short drive to Hot Springs, Ark., for the annual Holiday Lights at beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens from Nov. 17-Dec. 31.

There's nothing quite like spending the holidays in the beautiful Ozark mountains of Arkansas, especially in the quaint little town of Eureka Springs.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas has come to one of my favorite places to visit each and every year. Garvan Woodland Garden in Hot Springs, Arkansas is all aglow with more than 4 million lights which even looks like more reflecting off all the cascading waterfalls, ponds and the surrounding lake of this 210-acre garden.

If you're out looking for Christmas light displays to help you get into the holiday spirit you have to take the short trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas to visit Garvan Woodland Gardens.

Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis, Tenn., will officially begin the holiday season when Country Music Award winner singer-songwriter T.G. Sheppard “flips the switch” on the traditional lights and decorations during the annual lighting ceremony on Thursday, November 17, at 6PM and lights up Elvis Presley’s iconic home for the season.

Okay, in Texas they have Santa Land and in Arkansas they have Holiday Lights 2015 at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Ark. As I continue my hunt for some of the best places to visit this holiday season Garvan Woodland Gardens is right up there with some of the best light displays to view close to home.

Tis' the season to be jolly! And there's nothing more jolly than gathering up family and friends grabbing some hot chocolate and heading to a festive public light display. About a week ago, I shared with you one of my favorite places to visit Santa Land, Texas. Well, now it's on to Hot Springs, Ark., for my other favorite place to visit -- Garvan Woodland Gardens.

Want to continue to tell you about some really cool places to visit this holiday season for checking out light displays. A few years ago I visited a place just north of Tyler, Texas in Lindale called "Santa Land Texas" and you didn't have to get out of your car to see it. Santa Land is a drive - through Christmas Park Wonderland.

As the song says "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" and one of my favorite places to go to get into the holiday spirit is Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
