Hooks High School

Break out those shotguns for some fun busting clays and raising money for our future farmers, the Hooks FFA Trap Shoot is scheduled for October.

This weekend the public is invited to Tiger Stadium at Grim Park as they will be hosting a big high school marching band competition. It all takes place this Saturday, October 2 from 10:30 AM until 7 PM. It's the annual Four States Invitational Marching Contest.

Did you know that high schools in our area compete for scholarship money from LifeShare Blood Center by holding blood drives? With schools closed the high schools that in the past have hosted blood drives now need to rely on the community to find another place to host the drives.

High School seniors have definitely gotten the short end of the deal this year with COVID-19. Some good news to report is that some area schools are announcing cially rescheduled its graduation ceremonies for the senior class of 2020.
