UPDATE: Courvoisier Trotter, who was wanted in Hope, Ark., for Murder in the First Degree, surrendered to authorities yesterday, July 6, 2016. Trotter is being held in the Hempstead County Detention Facility and is awaiting First Appearance. No Bond has been determined at this time.

Cpl. Dennis Hovarter, a wildlife officer with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission was instrumental in the apprehension of a bank robbery suspect after the robbery of the Bank of the Ozarks North Branch in Hope, Ark., at about 1:30PM, Feb. 17.

On Oct. 16, 2015, Alvin Phillips, 22, of Hope was charged with Aggravated Robbery in connection with an incident that occurred on Aug. 11, 2015 at the Triple J Shell gas station on North Hazel Street in Hope, Ark. The Hope Police Department also have a warrant for the arrest of Billy McCauley, 23, of Hope on the charge of Aggravated Robbery in the same incident.

UPDATE: At approximately 3 p.m. today, July 29, investigators with the Hope Police Department arrested Travon Davis, 17, for Murder in the 1st Degree in connection with the homicide that occurred earlier today. Davis was taken into custody in Magnolia, Ark., without incident and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where he will be held for a first appearance.

The Hope, Ark., Police Department continues its search for Madeline Tomlin, 24, of Hope, who was last seen in that area on the evening of Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Police department officials say unfortunately they have no new information to share since they first released the missing person's report last Saturday but continue to seek the public's help in locating Tomlin.
