Local legends, “South Down Main,” will headline a virtual concert experience in the first-ever (and hopefully only) “NOT The-Watermelon-Festival-Concert” Concert on Saturday, August 15, 2020 live from Hempstead Hall’s theater.

In case you haven't heard the annual Hope Watermelon Festival scheduled for early August 2020 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 43rd Annual Hope Watermelon Festival is coming August 8, 9 and 10 at Fair Park in Hope,  Arkansas. There will be a ton of things to do and see for the whole family. Enjoy food, live entertainment and more! Enter the Watermelon Eating Contest or the Watermelon Idol contest, Watermelon Olympics, Pro Wrestling, plus a dog show and more!

Diamond Rio is set to headline the 43rd Annual Hope Watermelon Festival on Saturday, August 10, at 8:30PM. Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 6, with a special one-day “early bird” discounted ticket price of $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-10.

Lisa and I talked with Anna Powell in Hope, Arkansas this morning by phone about this weekend's Hope Watermelon Festival and how it starts off with an "Urban Cowboy" reunion show featuring Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee, plus show opener Buddy Jewell!

August is almost here and so is the Hope Watermelon Festival and we all know that the best tasting watermelons come from Hope, Arkansas.

Mickey Gilley, the 1976 Country Music Entertainer of the Year, and Gold Record recording artist Johnny Lee will perform their world-famous Urban Cowboy Reunion Tour at the 42nd Annual Hope Watermelon Festival on Friday, August 10, at 8:30PM. The concert will be held on the CMC Stage inside Hope Fair Park. Gates open at 6PM.

It's the Hope Watermelon Festival this weekend. Who doesn't love watermelon and who doesn't love watermelon grown in Hope, AR?

The annual Hope Watermelon Festival kicks off this weekend at Fair Park in Hope, Arkansas. The featured entertainer Joe Diffie will be performing at Hempstead Hall Saturday, Aug. 12, beginning at 8:30PM and one of the opening acts is newcomer Dillan Cate.

Rachel Hale, of Prescott, AR, will open for Joe Diffie at the 41st Annual Hope Watermelon Festival this Saturday, August 12 at 6PM.  Hale auditioned for Season 12 of American Idol and became a featured contestant and top 20 female competing on the show.
