A Texas death row inmate, Robert Roberson, is seeking a new trial after his lawyers found new evidence of judicial misconduct and a conflict of interest in his original case.

Arkansas State Police released the name of the Bowie County prison escapee who was captured yesterday and was shot during an alleged altercation between the prisoner and the arresting Texarkana Arkansas police officer.

A female inmate was found dead by police early this morning at the Bi-State Jail.
